Why It is helpful to have chiropractor care during and after your pregnancy
When you consider the upcoming process of giving birth, it is clear that this is a very physical process. Our body has to be able to open and move. Our pelvis and spine need to be working optimally to do one of its most important jobs; giving birth. Can you imagine how much easier this is going to be if our spine and pelvis are in excellent working order at the outset. The time to start working on your birth is while you are pregnant and carrying your little one, without pain and feeling strong.
When you think about it, you and your baby are one at this stage, and what you experience will have an impact on your baby, even in the early stages of pregnancy. If you are well, and not in pain, the hormones and chemicals that are being produced will be in good balance. If you are not, your brain will produce stress chemicals, like more adrenalin, more cortisol, less seratonin ( a relaxing neurotransmitter). So let us get you ready much like an athlete for the performance of your life. The carrying and birth of your child.
